What is a Block-of-the-Month?

Quilters make one or more quilt blocks following the directions for that month. At the next guild meeting all the blocks are displayed. Each participant enters her name in a drawing, once for each block that she contributed. A name is drawn and the winner takes all the blocks!

BOM blocks are fun to make, nothing difficult or time-consuming. Most quilters already have enough scraps to make BOMs for decades. Have fun!
